A Dot & Line-ról | About Dot & Line

2015. július 06. - dotandline

Dot & Line has launched in March 2015 with the aim to create an online platform where emphasis is put on contemporary Hungarian animated films, filmmakers, as well as local and regional animation-related events. The blog's main objective is to present the work of young animation directors' work and accomplishments to other professionals, as well as to people outside of the profession. As proclaimed at the opening conference of the Hungarian Animation 100 exhibition last year, "the most colorful chapter of Hungarian film history is animation." Contemporary animation also shows an especially fresh and new direction, proving that young filmmakers are particularly worth our attention.

The blog primarily covers news about Hungarian animation; however, information about movies of all lengths, techniques, ages, genres, and origins can be found on the site as well.

We are open to any kind of animation-related cooperation, we publish all news and invitations to animation workshops, festival and other events.
